Day 04 - The pairing with the most chemistry?
"Chemistry" is a vague term the definition of which, in this context, I have never exactly been clear on. But the one pairing that I can remember thinking of in those terms at the time - aside from Sawyer and Kate from Lost, which doesn't count because Josh Holloway as Sawyer has chemistry with everything, even inanimate props - is Tony and Ziva from NCIS. In fact, it's one of the main things that got me watching the show - one of the first episodes I ever saw was the season 3 episode "Untouchable," and the main thing I took away from that episode, without knowing anything else about the series or the characters, was that Tony and Ziva had some incredible unresolved sexual tension going on. This has continued from Ziva's introduction into the cast through, as far as I am aware, the current season, and that includes throughout the fourth season (when Tony was busy falling in love with someone else) and sixth season (when Ziva was in a relationship with someone else).
The show isn't shy about capitalizing on it, either; there have been at least two episodes ("Boxed In" and "Under Covers" in season 3) which hung almost entirely on Tony and Ziva's UST.
Day 05 - The pairing with the least chemistry?
I'll choose to interpret the question as "the pairing with the least chemistry that I still kind of like," which is Chiaki and Nodame from Nodame Cantabile.
Chiaki is one of my favorite character types: an uptight jerkface. Nodame is your basic Manic Pixie Dream Girl, there to shake up Chiaki's orderly world and help get him over himself. Naturally, they get along like a house on fire, and I mean that in the most comedic sense of the phrase, i.e. people running around and screaming, etc.
The problem I have with them is mostly that Nodame is very childlike in her behavior, to the point that in most scenes you could actually replace her with a five-year-old without much of a problem. So it's very hard for me to see a lot of romantic chemistry between her and Chiaki. That said, I can't actually dislike the pairing, because Nodame does clearly have the expected effect on Chiaki and watching him gradually unbend and learn how to be less obnoxious is very cute. (Also Tomokazu Seki as Chiaki exercises the full extent of his considerable ability to throw shouty hissyfits, even moreso than he did as Yzak in Gundam SEED, which I would not have thought possible.)
But yeah, chemistry, not so much.
