A quick observation regarding the Thor movie, with pictures:

This is the kind of thing that Natalie Portman as Jane Foster wears all movie:







What Jaimie Alexander as Sif wears for pretty much the whole movie:





I couldn't find any full-body shots, but you get the idea. Layers and plaids and sleeves for Jane, sweaters and knits for Darcy, armor that actually kind of looks like armor (or at least isn't designed to display cleavage and thighs) for Sif, and you can't see it but all these outfits also include pants.

Oh, definitely. It's always fun to hear those kind of details. I'd also heard that Chris Hemsworth ended up competing with his own brother for the role, which is weirdly funny, especially in the context of the movie's story.

Speaking of Loki, I'm pretty sure I could do with more Tom Hiddleston in my movie watching experiences. I recognize his face, and am curious if he's just as fantastic in non-fantastic roles.
