Apartment!
I'm mostly unpacked now, except for not having any bookshelves. Maybe later today I'll venture out and try to pick up some cheap ones. I've also got a bunch of papers to go through and re-organize into my filing cabinet.
It's an odd feeling, and I'm still a little unsettled, but I'm managing. Greatly enjoying the broadband and the cable TV. I'm waking up a lot earlier than normal, though. Not that this is a bad thing.
Anyway, here are some pictures!
Me in my living room. That painting behind the TV was a high school graduation gift from my brother, who painted it himself. And my grandfather made the coffee table when I was little.
The bedroom. Still not all the way unpacked in there, but I'm closer to it now than I was when Mom took this.
Outside! I'm in the upper rightmost apartment.
Me at the front door. You can see a bit of my kitchen table, and the New Orleans print I swiped from my brother.
That's Tank in my lap looking bored. He doesn't live with me.
The other end of the living room. Although you can't tell at this size, the thing on the wall behind me is an outline of a horse's head formed by hand-calligraphed poetry. Mom found it in South Carolina ages ago. Pretty neat, huh?
