There are still a lot of things I haven't even begun hacking out yet, like the details of exactly when and how it'll link in to the SWverse, but specific connections are more likely to attach to the KotORs - Darth Revan and the Mandalorian Wars and the Jedi Civil War and the fallout thereof - rather than the original trilogy, because I know almost none of the EU stuff that covers the period following the original trilogy, and there's no way to have a bunch of Jedi running around during or immediately before the original trilogy, and frankly I don't like the prequel trilogy enough to bother using it as my reference point.
Also I like the stuff that the KotORs, especially KotOR II, do with regards to the Force, and the Ultimate Cataclysmic Threat To Life As We Know It for the final battle that I'll use as an analogue to GENESIS will most likely draw some inspiration from the destruction of Malachor V and its lasting effects, adapted to Klueze's particular damage.
In keeping with Star Wars tradition, Murrue will almost certainly end up in some kind of skimpy outfit or with gratuitous clothing damage at some point!
