Must take a moment to swoon all over David Sylvian, especially the song "Darkest Dreaming":

So pretty and sad. Partly because aside from the vocals there's not a lot to it, just some soft atmospheric tones. It's such a Squall song.

And I discovered it in an episode of CSI, which just reinforces my love for that show. Even if it was the episode in which Grissom let a dominatrix come between us. Snf.

Further pause to be amused at the LJ spellchecker, which does not recognize 'Grissom' and offers, as first possible replacement, 'Gruesome'. Hee.

Another unexpected aspect of playing Squall occurs to me.

Namely, do you have any idea how hard it is to pose doing things with that gunblade without sounding obscene?

I never had this problem with all of those swordswomen on fantasy themes.
