I think I've been RPing detective stuff too much. Or watching too many procedural dramas, or... Something.

I've been keeping tabs on CNN.com while I'm at work, for lack of anything better to do, and one of the stories that's come up recently was a University of Wisconsin student who disappeared on Saturday and was recently found. Reading the news story about her return and her account of what happened, I got the distinct feeling that what she was claiming had happened didn't quite jive somehow. It seemed... kinda hinky.

Today, CNN.com reports she's changed her story.

According to the news, the police now believe she wasn't abducted at all -
she staged the whole thing.
