Made it home for Thanksgiving dinner with family, and safely back again. Brought two cats back with me.

Bogart is taking the relocation in stride. Sammy seems a bit traumatized. He initially didn't care to leave the carrier; when he finally did venture out, he slunk about low on his belly and almost immediately hid in the corner behind the TV. He is currently still there and showing no inclination to move. I feel kind of guilty, though I'm sure he'll come out when he's feeling less freaked out. He and Bogey are longtime pals, which should help... not that Bogey's demonstrating much concern right now. The bum.

I have to work tomorrow. Big shopping day and all. Things are, from all accounts, going to be crazy. Ho boy.

Still want to know if Walk the Line includes anything about how Johnny Cash got arrested in my hometown and wrote a song about it. Just, you know. For curiosity's sake.

Black Friday: overhyped. Today was actually fairly normal, except for the fact that people kept bringing around cookies and we got free pizza and stuff. And I got a $30 Barnes & Noble gift card out of it. Woot!

The cats are adjusting. Sammy came out from behind the TV about the time I was going to bed last night and promptly hid under the sofa instead. I didn't actually see him until I got home for lunch today, but he's relaxing more now and is currently on the floor beside my desk, grooming.
