A few more personification braindribbles before bed...
For Nature, I'll probably stick with the female archetype, but I think I'm going to make her less of a green-mother and more of a savage. Kind of a "raised by wolves" sort of thing. Feral. She used to be one of the most powerful, but her influence has waned since mankind began exerting control over their environment; still, it's not wise to provoke her, and she has quite a bit of power at her disposal.
Nature is frequently at odds with Science, who is probably male. What he's like, I haven't determined yet; more on him later, but he and Art are pretty much colleagues, not as adversarial as Science is with Nature. They don't always understand one another, but they collaborate well.
Art, likewise, I don't have much on yet... but Art will be androgynous.
As will Love. (Which brings up the question of what pronouns you use for an androgyne?)
Lust, meanwhile, changes gender depending on the situation.
