Oh, I <3 Nathan so hard. How much do I love that what seemed like a bizarre turnaround - from being gung-ho to prosecute Linderman six months ago to being in his pocket now - turns out to be Nathan working covertly with the FBI to bring Linderman down. ...And yet he's still enough of a grey area that he let himself be swayed by Linderman at the end of the episode. Inwardly squishy enough that his scenes with Hiro are freaking adorable. Bastard enough to clock Niki in the face. Awesome. I have no idea where his character will end up, and I love it.
Also: Eee, Ando. I went from ambivalent about him to feeling a sudden surge of "it's okay now, Ando's here!" in this episode, and it was beautiful. Not to mention eee, pointful storyline for Hiro again, instead of the pastede on yey stuff he's had going the past few episodes. And eee, smart!Mohinder, even if someone up there hates him too much to allow him to catch a break. If he dies, I will be upset. Yeah, I know his storylines haven't been great either, but he's so pretty.
I am worried for Mr. Bennet. :( (I would be worried for Peter, but there's no way in hell they're actually gonna kill him. So instead I couldn't help but giggle at the demise of the emobangs. Come on, you laughed too, admit it.) I will say, though, that I kind of like Mr. Bennet better when he's morally grey and in control than as a definite good guy who is very much not in control of things. Well, this may lead to a Mr. Bennet and Matt teamup, which would still be very cool.
Can't wait to find out how involved Mrs. Petrelli is, and on which side. I knew she knew more about what's going on than she was admitting, but I clearly didn't know how much more she knew than she was admitting. One step closer to a Petrelli family reunion! Still looking forward to Nathan and Claire meeting face to face. Cannot wait.
...but I'm gonna have to, because, augh, hiatus.
Memo to fandom: Candice is probably an illusionist, not a shapeshifter. Catch up.
Memo to fandom, II: It's spelled Isaac. Not "Issac." Catch up.

Date: 2007-03-06 06:43 am (UTC)Now I have to wonder why Hiro is so upset. He's jumped to the future once before and went 'OH I MUST STOP THIS.' He jumps to the future again and just goes "I FAILED OH NO!" The response would be 'yes, this sucks, let's get back to stopping this!' Although the fact that he brought Ando with him is a new thing.
