Romeo x Juliet 3

I finally got to watching Romeo x Juliet 3 at about five this morning while staying awake to make sure I could make my 7 am flight - and then, of course, there was a problem and they had to put me on a later one. So now I'm at an airport McDonald's in Cincinatti, eating some lunch and making a few observations.
I really like how this whole "Juliet will overthrow the Montagues and reclaim Neo Verona!" thing is being handled: that is, a plan which was formed without any input from Juliet herself and is steamrolling right along without any regard for how she feels about it, which is mostly "freaked out." Seriously, refusing to tell her anything until her sixteenth birthday and then springing it all on her at once with a bunch of armed men calling her absurdly complicated noble name and waving weapons in a graveyard - WAY TO GO, GUYS, what did you think she was going to do?
Juliet's interaction with Cordelia continues to be adorable. But Cordelia should know better than to ask Juliet to promise to never see Romeo again. Does that ever work?
Awwwww, poor Romeo got stood up. :(
Not impressed with Mercutio yet, and that saddens me. They'd better do something cool with him.
I am looking forward to finding out what the story is with Romeo's mom, though. As
annwyd observed, he is totally a mama's boy and that explains so much. :)
I think probably everyone saw DOOM coming as soon as the doctor's wife mentioned publicly that he knew theScarlet Pimpernel Red Whirlwind. Very smooth, there. But we get a daring rescue scene out of it! I also love how quickly Juliet jumps into action, where earlier in the episode she was making D: faces at the aforementioned "save Neo Verona from the Montagues!" stuff. And rejecting the idea of being the city's hope. Juliet is pretty awesome.
But it is Romeo who PWNS ME SO HARD in this episode. I had a moment of "eeeee, he's SMART!" glee when he noticed the smell of irises, thinking he had realized that the Red Whirlwind and Juliet were one and the same; I'm not sure now if that's the case, but I kind of hope he figures it out on his own. His decision to help her escape and the way he pulled it off were both awesome, and so was his attitude afterward. <3 <3 <3
But man, poor Juliet finding out he's a Montague.
Also: mother tree WTF? o_O?
It is chilly in Cincinatti! I should have worn my jacket instead of packing it. :( But I found White Night and Innocent In Death in the airport Borders, yay! I'll be catching my connecting flight in about another 25 minutes, and then it's off to Baltimore.
