I heart Ramirez.

And the conclusion of the novel succeeded in placing Thomas at the top of my list of favorite characters alongside Michael.

Hee hee hee.

I still haven't read Proven Guilty. *sheepish* I'll get to it eventually!

Hey, it's not going anywhere. :) But they are both really good.

I so need to pick that up! Dresden's world gets more interesting the more it gets rocked, it seems.

I pretty much died at that bit. "Is he a present?" XD XD XD

Oh, Thomas started ratcheting his way steadily up the list of my favorite characters pretty much from his first appearance, but the revelation regarding what he's been doing with himself for the past, oh, two books or so completely cinched it - because not only was it hilarious, it was also brilliant on his part. WIN AND AWESOME.

I liked it... but I thought it happened too quickly. Since it wasn't a main part of the plot for this book, I really think he could have spent another book or two building it up, further establishing Lash's struggle with the concept of free will while at the same time Harry struggled with the hellfire and rage stuff. Instead it felt like we found out about half of it after the fact in Bob's infodump.

If it had to happen at the end of this book, a few more scenes about it still wouldn't have hurt. Particularly since we did see Harry kind of dependent on Lash's help, what with having her translate crazy moon languages for him and take mental snapshots of Thomas' wall o' clues. On the other hand, I'm glad that that seems to be as far as Jim's going to take the HARRY DRESDEN, YOUR SOUL IS MINE damnation stuff.

I admit, I have a hard time seeing any Molly ships at the moment. But I'm not a big fan of her in general. Don't hate her, but she has yet to wow me the way characters like Thomas and Ramirez have.

I didn't exactly like rage!Harry, but if Lasciel's imprint being removed from his head is the last we'll see of it, then it was resolved waaaaaay too easily.
