Bad things happen to the kindest people. Shepard angst following Bring Down the Sky.
"Angry Young Man"
I believe I've passed the age of consciousness and righteous rage; I found that just surviving was a noble fight. I once believed in causes too, I had my pointless point of view, and life went on no matter who was wrong or right... Wrex is surrounded by idealists.
"Clearest Indication"
Where do we stand? What am I supposed to do? Kaidan-->Shepard.
"Dam Would Break"
Kaidan-->Shepard and Kaidan's self-control issues.
"Downside-Up"
All the strangers look like family; all the family looks so strange. Ashley introspection on or shortly before Virmire.
"Easy as Life"
Forcing us to prove the hardest things we've done... Kaidan, Shepard, and survivor's guilt. First draft complete.
"Elaborate Lives"
We all live in extravagant times, playing games we can't all win. Liara-->Shepard/Kaidan again.

How far we are from morning... Random drop-team moment on some uncharted world with a really impressive sky, because why not?

If there's anything to say, if there's anything to do, if there's any other way... Okay, I just really like that title. More Shepard angst, maybe.

"Get Up Jonah"
Shepard woke up thinking about Turkish drummers. Didn't take long; she doesn't know much about Turkish drummers. Shepard introspection on Virmire before the parties split up.
"Here Comes the Flood"
Drink up, dreamers, you're running dry. Shepard/Kaidan, after Virmire, before Ilos.
"How to Save a Life"
Pray to God he hears you, and pray to God he hears you. Another one that I just like the idea of using as a title. Aheh. Shepard and Wrex on Virmire, maybe.
"I Will Not Take These Things For Granted"
A strength I haven't found. An alternate and less downbeat variant on the idea for "Fallen Embers" mentioned above.
"Innocent"
Never were we told we'd be bought and sold. Shepard is really pissed off at Cerberus, and Kaidan is worried about slippery slopes.
"Long Night"
Death is a mighty uniter, the defeat that comes to every fighter. There is bound to be something I can do with this one. Ashley or Wrex, maybe.
"A Minor Variation"
But still in all it's a small consolation; I just define it as a minor variation. Joker.
"Mysterious Ways"
She's the wave; she turns the tide. Garrus (or maybe Wrex) re: Shepard kicking ass.
"The Night is Still Young"
I've got a lot of catching up I've got to do. Kaidan's resolve, near the end of the game.
"No One Is To Blame"
And you want her, and she wants you. Kaidan angst re: Shepard and regulations.
"No Second Chances"
In which Shepard only gives one warning. Maybe something to do with Ethan Jeong on Feros.
"No Way Out"
There's a tightening in my chest; I know that I am drawn in... Shepard/Kaidan during the final push up the side of Citadel Tower. Kaidan always leaves a way out, but that's not going to work this time. In progress.
"Reckless Abandon"
Like a vapor are the days we live; this is no life for the cautious... Shepard and drop team kicking some ass, with bits of Shepard philosophy and maybe some Shepard/Kaidan overtones.
"Right Here Right Now"
Watching the world wake up from history. Shepard/Kaidan after the final victory. First draft mostly complete. Opening is rough and missing some bits.

In this broken world we choose... Shepard/Kaidan. Possibly yet more Liara-->Shepard/Kaidan, and I don't know why I keep feeling the need to be this mean to poor Liara.
