In other news, I turn 29 today.

I am not sure what I think about this, but since I'm feeling sorry for myself at the moment I will shamelessly inform my friendslist that, if anyone would like to give me a present, I would welcome any fanfics, fanart, and/or custom LJ icons anyone might be inspired to do. (I'm pretty sure you all know my preferred fandoms and characters and pairings, but I can be polled for specifics if need be.)

This is a bit lame of me since I'm so bad about filling requests myself, but if I can't be lame on my birthday, when can I?

I'm struck by a sudden yen for Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle's Kurogane/Fai.

Tsubasa | Kurogane/Fye | Watch
Fye was asleep and Kurogane was watching him.

They were enjoying a bit of peace that was becoming more and more rare as the time went on. In fact, those bits of time were so hard to come by, Kurogane wasn't sure if he actually believed that they were actually experiencing it at all. He was tense and hyper alert, aware that any wrong movement would having him lashing out.

Kurogane was honest enough to admit it wasn't just all the recent, quite often crazy, dangers he'd been in the middle of lately. He also had someone - someones - he wanted to protect that had a knack for making that particularly difficult for him with all the lies, secrets and clones surrounding them.

"You should get some rest," Fye said and he eyes didn't open. His lips twitched into a smile. "Kuro-pan."

Kurogane folded his arms. "Not yet."

"Okay." Fye turned over. "I'll be waiting until it's time."

Kurogane watched him fall back asleep.
