It's too bad you can't use a command seal to make him STFU and do what you say, like Rin does in Fate/stay night.

Also, I should probably warn you (albeit somewhat belatedly) that from the info I've dug up, it looks like the Archer romance, with either gender protagonist, is almost entirely subtext (though I think protagonist-chan might express interest explicitly at some point, on her side). Although judging by the protagonist-kun/Archer screencaps I just checked, that subtext is probably sufficient.

The "come on, you can't call that anything but love!" vs. "why won't they give me any Archer romance moments here?!" commentary I turned up in my searching was pretty amusing, though.

This does not really surprise me. Given that I'm not that far in and he's already had some moments of forgetting that he's supposed to be too much of a big embittered cynic to say things like "I won't let a single arrow touch you," I think I can probably be content with subtext!
