Which of your Characters is:

Part 1
1. The happiest?

Currently: Seishi. All things considered, she's got a nice life. Which is probably why I don't play her as much as I used to.

Ever: Probably still Seishi. She saves the world. She has cool friends. Sherlock Holmes is all soppy over her. I want this life.

2. The most depressed and unhappy with life?

Currently: Squall, for good reason, namely that his life kind of sucks. It sucks less than it once did, but, well. Anyhow, he's an unhappy kind of guy.

Ever: Definitely Squall, though 5th Age Arilyn runs him stiff competition.

3. Easily gets angry?

Currently: Neither of my characters anger very easily. I'll say Squall, because while it's rare that he gets really genuinely angry, he's fairly easy to annoy, and Seishi is just generally even-tempered.

Ever: Geez, I can't remember ever playing a character with a short fuse. Ky from Ansalon Dreams, maybe, but it's been a while and she was never one of my more prominent characters. Char from Dragonlance, likely - she was a red dragon.

4. Would rather be alone most of the time?

Currently: Another tricky question. Squall more frequently finds himself wishing people would leave him alone, but when you get down to it, Seishi is more comfortable with solitude.

Ever: Probably Arilyn. She was pretty lone-wolfy. Squall if we're counting 'argh go away' moments rather than 'content alone' moments.

5. Annoying as hell?

Currently: Squall. He's sullen, cryptic, moody, and tactless.

Ever: Even split between Squall and Irene. Omniscience is just as annoying as surl.

6. Just a complete asshole?

Squall, hands down. See above.

7. Would jump in front of a bullet to save their friends?

Currently: Either of them would be inclined to do so, but for Seishi it's more integral to her personality. For Squall it's in part a manifestation of his dirt-poor self-esteem.

Ever: Seishi. Seishi would jump in front of a bullet to save some schmuck she doesn't even know.

8. Shy and not very talkative?

Currently: Squall. Words frustrate him. Sei, on the other hand, is very verbal.

Ever: ...still Squall.

9. Full of themselves?

Currently: Depends on how you define it. Squall's more self-centered in that he's kind of wrapped up in his own angst, but Seishi's more self-confident and more inclined to be sproingy.

Ever: Irene, and for good reason.

10. Always ready for a fight?

Currently: Squall, less because he likes fighting than because he was trained from childhood to be prepared for battle.

Ever: This is a character type I just don't seem to play much. Still Squall, probably. My most violent character ever was Char, and she was too indolent to be qualified as "always ready for a fight."

11. Would find the best way to avoid a fight?

Currently: Oddly, neither of them are all that good at avoiding combat, even though neither of them really cares for it. Seishi, I suppose, since she has no particular moral objection to running away.

Ever: Irene. 'Cause she's SMRT.

12. Needs company 24/7?

Currently: Neither of them needs company all the time, but as previously stated, Seishi's more comfortable keeping herself company, so Squall.

Ever: Honor from DWR, I suppose.

13. Loves the sound of their own voice?

Currently: Seishi! She's slightly prone to burbling.

Ever: Definitely Irene.

14. Tries to be the leader of the pack?

Currently: Squall. Mostly because watching other people try to lead and screw up just pisses him off.

Ever: Irene if manipulating counts as leading. Otherwise Squall.

15. Wants revenge?

Currently: Squall again. Neither of my active characters is really big on revenge, but Seishi is actually opposed to it, while Squall occasionally goes through phases of wanting to hurt someone for all the crap that happened to him.

Ever: Char was probably the most prone to holding grudges. But she didn't hold them long, because the offending parties usually got either toasted or eaten pretty quick.

Part 2

1. Who is your main character?

Squall, currently, although I've had Seishi longer.

2. Who are his best friends?

Remy and Jubilee are the only people he's unequivocally close to. He gets along pretty well with Pete, Kyrie, and Rogue, but is wary of each of them for different reasons; he likes Kitty but doesn't know her very well at all. He and Seifer have a long history but cannot really be called friends.

3. Does he have an SO?

Remy. They have a fascinating dynamic.

4. Does he have a rival? If so are they a friendly rival and do they hate each other with a passion?

Amusingly enough, yes! Seifer. And it's a complicated rivalry. On the one hand, they're nearly brothers, and there's a certain amount of, if not affection, then at least mutual concern. On the other hand, Seifer's contributed in a big way to making Squall's life hell, and sometimes Squall hates him for it, just a little bit.

5. Does your main char represent the r/l you?

We have vaguely similar coloring. Other than that.... nope.

6. What character are you really proud you created?

I didn't create Squall, but I'm inordinately proud of being able to characterize the little bastard the way I do. I suppose the RP character I'm proudest of creating is Keleos from Dragonlance, Lady Knight of Solamnia and just generally kinda cool.

7. Do you think about your chars a lot?

...yes.

8. Do you ever wish you could meet your chars in r/l?

Sometimes! But I don't think they'd be very impressed with me.

9. Do you remember the moment you created your first char?

Very first was a talking horse (shut up) on Narnia (shut up) that I never actually did anything with. First character I actually RPed with - as opposed to glorified chatting - was Kestrel on Enchanted Path. First character I RPed well with was Karelian on Dragonlance.

10. Is originality important to you when creating a character?

In the sense of not being completely cliche, yes, but I have nothing against FCs.

11. Do you ever look at somebody's character and wish it was yours?

Only in the senses of, alternately, "I could play that character so much better" and "I wish I could play someone that cool."

12. Can you see yourself keeping this up in the future?

Heck yeah.
