Your RPGs characters' opinions on love. Simply, sum up the opinions/reactions/attitudes of your characters towards that nebulous thing called love, in a few sentences. Elaborate if you want, or not.
Seishi: Love is a necessity of life. Not romantic love - that's more of an extra - but other kinds of love. The love of parent for child, and of child for parent. The love of friend to friend. The love of mentor to student. These are the ties that hold us to life, that make us real and give us purpose.
Romantic love, meanwhile, resembles a game of Calvinball.
Irene: Love is the greatest of drama. Nothing has more power than love to make a person believe he is the star of his own personal performance, and the rest of the world merely chorus and stage dressing.
Squall: It's easy to fool yourself. You think you love someone, with everything you've got, but when the cards are down you realize that you didn't love them enough. Mostof the time people don't know what's going on in their hearts until it's too late to change. Real love is rarer. If somebody really loves you, it means you're worth something. It heals you. It holds you together when nothing else can. It pulls you back from the brink and gives you something to live for. But in the end, it can't last. And losing it tears you apart.
