Mar. 1st, 2005 02:25 pmSo, I caved in and sprang for some paid webspace, mostly because trying to make do with Angelfire and LJ was getting annoying. This is the entirety of my new site at the moment - the product of some tinkering in Photoshop and of determining that yes, I can navigate FTP - but I'll probably get an actual page up there. Eventually. When I get my hands on a decent web design program. (If anyone knows of one that wouldn't cost me an arm and a leg, suggestions would be nice.)

Date: 2005-03-01 09:13 pm (UTC)Web design programs generate really, really ugly markup that's difficult to alter later. I really, really suggest just doing the markup yourself. It's not difficult and makes a good resume skill, as well. Web Monkey is my favorite tutorial/informational site.
I'm still currently a freelance Access programmer/Web designer/computer technician/(and now) baker, so I'll be happy to help if you run into any problems/questions.

Abby, if you want me to dig up the files to that old site I worked on last semester for grading, I can, and we can revamp it. We can be the next Aya No Weiss! Or something. ;)
