joiedecombatTwo more Black Phoenix imps arrived today. Actually three - the order was for Namaste and Sudha Segara, but they threw in a frimp of Rage as well.
Namaste: Patchouli. And jasmine. And rose. (Plus sandalwood and cedarwood and lemongrass.) This one is Very Not Me; I don't much care for patchouli, and I can definitely smell it in this. The jasmine and rose probably aren't helping any either. I didn't really expect this one to work for me; I picked up the order mostly for Sudha Segara, which continues to be lovely.
Rage: ...maybe my sniffer's out of whack today, but I really expected something more potent from a scent called Rage. Instead, I'm getting the same sort of clean scent that I got from Dragon's Hide, which must of course be the dragon's blood resin, plus a trace of sweetness. The result is actually quite pleasant, much moreso than Namaste. We'll see how it dries down.

ahumblepen mailed out (finally), and Dragon's Hide and Tintagel for funwithrage, plus mailing out The Apothecary to swap for Juke Joint.
And I went to the grocery store. I got a pumpkin! And beer. Not that I drink beer, but I want to use it in chili. I wouldn't have gotten it, probably, but they had a sixpack of Kirin Ichiban. (Stop looking at me like that.)
Productive!
Now I must clean my apartment, because my grandparents stopped by for a surprise visit and were probably horrified by the state of my living space, even if they were gracious about it and my profuse apologies. Got my pet deposit paid up, so I can go get my cats once everything's tidy.
