In honor of the incredibly sexy variant cover of X-Men: Legacy #255, I have uploaded my 100th LJ icon.
That is all.
That is all.
Various scribblings.
Jan. 12th, 2004 08:01 pmWhile I was scanning the 'I don't do merry' drawing, I took the opportunity to scan a bunch of other stuff I'd discovered stashed here and there in my files. Some of it's not half bad. Most of it I don't actually remember drawing. Go fig.
Very rough sketch: Seishi as the Eight of Swords, circa PI's dreamplot. Pretty much gave up on the swords part.
Also from PI, a costume that Sei wore all of maybe twice. Based very strongly off the phouka's May Eve outfit from War For The Oaks, only with a skirt.
Some jewelry designs:
- a nifty stone done in colored pencil, based off an earlier but much less well-executed drawing which was in turn based off a fiction idea I have since forgotten. I really need to keep better notes.
- I have no idea what this was for, but it still looks pretty neat, even if the paper did get kind of beat up.
- a thumbnail sketch based very loosely off a ring I own.
I don't know who this guy is, but isn't he cute? You'll have to excuse my inability to draw legs.
...or hands. She probably owes her inspiration to Nancy Henry's fire fay, but Nancy's better at motion - among other things - than I am.
Another instance of my inability to draw hands: a sketch of my once-upon-a-time DWR character, Honor Donovan. Or at least, someone wearing her clothes. I like that coat.
